“We went to Belgium from April 24 to 28, 2024. It’s the turn of our Belgian friends to come and visit us today”explains Philippe Denéchère, the president of the Vitrean Dojo, at the origin of this exchange with a foreign club. Namely Judo Sakura in Braine l’Alleud, a club in the suburbs of Brussels.

“Introducing another culture to our graduates, even if in this case there is no language barrier, it is always interesting. The objective is to discuss, for example our training and operating methods, but also to meet new people, to progress and to open up to others. »

Friendly tournament Saturday

Arriving on Wednesday October 23 in Vitre, the Belgian delegation, made up of around twenty young people aged 14 to 20, will take advantage of their stay in the region until Sunday October 27 to do different activities. “We met on the tatami mats at the dojo for group training on Wednesday evening.
