There remains one last day of competition within the Group Phase, but six teams have already been able to certify their tickets for a quarterfinal that will meet its last two passengers next November. A mystery that will be cleared up next Tuesday, November 12, and that will determine which two teams will accompany Alimerka Oviedo, Silbö San Pablo Burgos, Movistar Estudiantes, Real Betis, Amics Castelló and Odilo FC Cartagena in the quarterfinal pot.
It will be on December 23 when the Spanish Cup begins its qualifying rounds for the title with the quarterfinals, but to do so, the competition must first complete a table that already has six qualified teams. Therefore, the last day of the Group Phase will be divisive in Groups A and C where Monbus Obradoiro and UEMC Real Valladolid will start as leaders.
GROUP A: To be determined
Monbus Obradoiro will depend on itself on the last day where a victory against CB Prat would allow the Galician team to certify first place as undefeated leader (4-0). A result that would give them the ticket to a quarterfinal to which Ourense Baloncesto still aspires, which closed its group stage last Tuesday with a victory against CB Santfeliuent that allowed them to maintain some qualification options. These would happen due to a defeat by Monbus Obradoiro on the last day against CB Prat, which would cause a triple tie that could benefit Moncho López’s team.

GROUP B: Alimerka Oviedo
Although it had started as the most even Group during its first three days of competition, the dispute on the night of last Tuesday ended up giving the ticket to the quarterfinals to Alimerka Oviedo who gave their pursuers no option. Because their victory in Azpeitia dissolved any passing option for Inveready Gipuzkoa and a Grupo Alega Cantabria for which only a triple tie would have been worth it. With the big unknown now cleared up, Alimerka Oviedo will now opt for the perfect phase in their last home match against Teknei Zornotza.

UEMC Real Valladolid could have sealed its classification last Tuesday, but the defeat suffered at home against Caja Rural CB Zamora was going to prolong the fight for one more day, once again opening the door to Súper Agropal Palencia. Therefore, the last day will be decisive, with the people of Valladolid waiting from home (rest day) for what happens in the other two games. And the triple tie could leave Lolo Encinas’ team out in favor of the Palencia team, who would surpass the table in the event of a tie between the two given their victory in the J.1 match at Pisuerga. One last date on which the people of Palencia will host Clínica Ponferrada and on which Caja Rural Zamora will face Gran Canaria.
