Good result for Club Judo Alhama in the Regional and discreet start in the National
The athletes from Club Judo Alhama have started the competitions with uneven performance in the first two competitions.

The Alhameño judokas had a cold start in the Spanish Children’s and Cadet Cups held at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santander, where Laura Andreo (children’s -52 k.), Caroline Houdusse (cadet -48 k.) and Andrea Ortiz ( cadet -57 k.).

On this occasion, none of our judokas were among the eight best of their weight, so they did not obtain a score in the national ranking.

Senior Region Championship
However, the previous results were a stimulus for the following week, where both Caroline and Andrea participated for the first time in the Absolute Regional Championship (senior), which was held in the Felipe VI Pavilion in Lorca.

Likewise, the rest of the Alhameño judokas (Javier García, Pedro Martínez and Alfonso Sánchez) were also making their debut in the senior category.

The results of the athletes were the following:
1ª a Caroline Houdusse (senior -48 k.).
2ª Andrea Ortiz (senior -57 k.).
5º Javier García (senior -60 k.).
9º Pedro Martínez (senior -66 k.).
9th Alfonso Sánchez (senior -81 k.).

The next event for our judokas will be the Alhama Cup of Judo, children and cadets, which will take place on November 2 at the Adolfo Suárez Pavilion.
