The 30 courts that the franchises have prepared for the NBA Cup

The NBA has presented the customized courts of the 30 teams for the Emirates NBA Cup 2024, a tournament that begins with the Group Stage on Tuesday, November 12. The opening day will feature a doubleheader broadcast on TNT: the New York Knicks will visit the Philadelphia 76ers at 1:30 am (Spanish time) and, later, the Golden State Warriors will host the Dallas Mavericks at 4:00 am

During the tournament, all 30 NBA franchises will play on fully painted courts, designed by artist Victor Solomon to highlight the league’s unique look in the Group Stage and Quarterfinals. The colors of the courts will contrast with the Nike NBA Statement Edition uniforms of the home teams, while the visiting teams will wear the Nike NBA Association Edition.

Who is Victor Solomon?

Victor Solomon is a prominent artist and designer known for exploring the intersection between art, sport and luxury. In the world of the NBA, Solomon is recognized for his exclusive creations that include pieces made of stained glass, gold and high-quality materials, all inspired by basketball. For the Emirates NBA Cup, Solomon created a concept based on concentric circles that represents the three stages of competition: Group Stage, Quarterfinals and the Semifinals and Final, which will be played in Las Vegas, at the T-Mobile Arena.

Additional Design Details

The courts show three concentric circles in tones that emulate the main color of each team, representing the three phases of the tournament:

  • Group Stage
  • Quarter finals
  • Semifinals and Final

Additionally, the NBA Cup is featured prominently in the center court and paint areas, while each team’s logo and name appear in the central jump circle. Each court also features a logo, name or graphic design that covers the entire surface, ensuring a touch of customization that reflects the identity of each market.
