The Joint Resource Commission of the French LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel) has ruled in favor of Kylian Mbappé in the claim that the current Real Madrid player presented at the time against PSG, in relation to an amount of 55 million euros in concept of bonuses and salary.

However, the club chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which has a period of one week to pay this amount, refuses to do so and plans to take the matter to the competent courts. «What is in dispute, and will ultimately be heard before an appropriate tribunal, is that the original contract was legally amended in August 2023 in relation to the 2024/2025 season, and was also fully recognized by the player, including in January 2024, until the player decided to renounce all his commitments when leaving the club,” explains the Parisian institution in a statement.

“PSG will be forced to bring the case before the competent courts while continuing, despite repeated bad faith, to try to find an amicable solution with the player,” adds PSG. While waiting for the dispute to even reach ordinary justice, the LFP’s decision, although not binding, reaffirms the current Madrid footballer in his position of strength, through which he claims what was his club for seven seasons the full amount, without being willing to negotiate a reduction in exchange for an immediate payment.
