The tour launched in 2016 and begins its 18th season in 2024.

This year’s schedule includes three stages (one less than normal since it is an Olympic year) and a grand final, where only the best archers are invited to compete. Athletes qualify as stage winners or by accumulating points in the World Cup standings, or this year, by winning the Olympic Games.

The winners of the final receive the title of Hyundai Archery World Cup Champion.

The circuit is open to two styles of arc – the arc classicwhich is the Olympic discipline, and the arch pulleys – and the stages also host team and mixed doubles competitions.

The finals are broadcast worldwide on archery+ and the circuit offers the largest prize pool of all international tournaments, which amounts to more than 400,000 CHF. In 2024, every Hyundai Archery World Cup champion will receive 30’000 CHF.
