Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford benefited greatly from the return of his two favorite targets in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua by collecting 279 yards through the air and four touchdown passes.

On their returns, Kupp scored a touchdown and Nacua crossed the 100-yard gain plateau.

Veteran Demarcus Robinson, however, had his say with two receptions that led to touchdowns.

For the visitors, quarterback Sam Darnold had an excellent game with 18 completed passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns. However, he was the victim of a quarterback sack in the end zone at the very end of the game to concede a safety touchdown to the opponent, although there should have been a penalty for grabbing the face protector on the sequence.

The Vikings’ Justin Jefferson continued to shine with eight receptions for 115 yards. He notably made a spectacular catch in the third quarter to bring the ball to the goal gate, but the Vikings attack could not finish the job and settled for a field goal.

On defense, rookie Jared Verse had a strong game for Los Angeles with three tackles and 1.5 sacks.

With this victory, the Rams join the Arizona Cardinals in second place in the West section of the National.
