*Seven will try to achieve the hat-trick tomorrow*
Everything is ready for the finals at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Chiari which it will host
tomorrow the 20 final matches which will award the 20 titles up for grabs and which
will determine the assignment of the title to teams.
In the Under 13 Lombardy stands out with two athletes Li Bohong Luca (Junior BC
Milan) and Emma Maria Falchetti (GSA Chiari) who will both be busy
in three different finals. Together they will face the mixed doubles match against
Mattia Cattaneo and Lea Gitterle (BCC Lecco/ASV Mals). Falchetti will then challenge
in the women’s singles Melissa Cristina Concas (MaraBadminton Academy),
first Sardinian who will try to win an Italian youth title while
in the women’s doubles together with Frieda Heinisch (ASV Mals) she will have to compete
see with Lea Gitterle and Janina Kobler (ASV Mals). He will face them instead
in the singles the number one seeded Manuel Veronese
(Arena Badminton Team) while together with Mattia Cattaneo (BCC Lecco) he will challenge
Matthias Finian Pichler and Matthias Renner (ASV Mals).
Only Anton Gurschler (ASV Mals) managed to compete tomorrow
three finals. In the men’s singles it will be a derby against his doubles partner
men’s Adrian Telfser, with the latter he will face the doubles final
men’s against Riccardo Giani and Alessandro Lagasio (GSA Chiari/Il Punto).
In the mixed doubles instead together with Franzi Hellrigl (ASV Mals) the South Tyrolean
will challenge two fellow regional players, Felix Tragust Atz and Nadia Malleier (ASV
Uberetsch). In the women’s singles Hellrigl will return to the field again
opposed to Alice Scelfo (Pol. Le Racchette). Scelfo will also repeat the event
final with the final act of the women’s doubles where together with Michelle
Alercia (BC Catania) will have to overcome Nadia Malleier (two finals also for
lei) and Lisa Tschimben (ASV Uberetsch).
Three athletes reached the three finals in the under 17s:
Tobias Andergassen (ASV Uberetsch), Margherita Tognetti (Junior BC Milano)
and Anna Hell (ASV Uberetsch) who however reached the third final in the doubles
Under 19 women’s team together with Sofia Galimberti (ASV Uberetsch) against Anna
Hohenneger and Carolin Rauner (ASV Mals). Tognetti and Hell will be challengers
then in the women’s singles and mixed doubles respectively in pairs
with Tataru (ASV Mals) and Andergassen. The latter will also be engaged in
men’s singles against Davide Izzo (Piume d’Argento) and in doubles
male together with Izzzo and opposite Alessio Catalfamo and Sebastian Tataru
(Le Saette/ASV Mals).
Only Simone Piccinin (BC Milano) will play three finals among them
Junior. The Milanese player will challenge Marco Danti (ASV.) in the men’s singles
Uberetsch) who will also be an opponent in the men’s doubles where Piccinin will be
paired with Zyver De Leon (BC Milano) and Danti with Ruben Fellin (SSV
Bozen). In the last final Piccinin paired with Viola Torres (Junior BC
Milan) will face Zyver De Leon and Carolin Rauner (BC Milan/ASV Mals).
The last final will instead see opposite sides in the women’s singles Sofia
Galimberti and Sofia Protto (Alba Shuttle).

The second day of competitions involved the Palazzetto with almost 150 races
of Sport of Chiari which is hosting the awarding of the Italian titles
of the 2024 Italian Junior and Under Championships.
There are 39 athletes among all four categories who are still in
race for the three titles: 18 males and 21 females.
Among the Under 13s there are eight athletes who can still chase the dream
of the treble: Lucia Arione (Alba Shuttle), Mattia Cattaneo (BCC Lecco),
Emma Maria Falchetti (GSA Chiari), Lea Gitterle (ASV Mals), Lina Goegele
(ASV Mals), Janina Kobler (ASV Mals), Bohong Luca Li (Junior BC Milano) e
Igor Szczech (ASV Mals).
There are ten athletes who can achieve the hat-trick in the
Under 15 category: Jan Dominique De Leon (Junior BC Milano), Anton
Gurschler (ASV Mals), Franzi Hellrigl (ASV Mals), Nadia Malleier (ASV
Mals), Mara Stricker (ASV Mals), Adrian Telfser (ASV Mals), Felix Tragust
Atz (ASV Uberetsch), Manuel Veronese (Arena Badminton Team), Eva Maria
Zangerle (ASV Mals) and Emilia Maria Ziernheld (ASV Mals).
Twelve athletes also in the Under 17 with the particularity of Leni Ladurner (SC
Meran) who reached the quarterfinals in the women’s doubles and in
mixed doubles despite being Under 15, the category in which he competes in the singles
female. The same goes for Anna Hell (ASV Uberetsch) who in
women’s doubles managed to reach the quarterfinals in the Under 19s while
in the other two disciplines he is still competing in the Under 17 and for Viola
Torres (Junior BC Milano) in the quarterfinals in the Under 19 mixed and in the other two
disciplines in the Under 17. The other nine athletes are: Tobias Andergassen

The fight is also open in the Junior category with nine athletes who
