Baseball player Framber Valdez supports walk to raise awareness about cancer in SPM – El Nuevo Diario (Dominican Republic)

THE NEW DIARY, SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS. – The prominent Petromacoris Major League player, Framber Valdez, who is part of the Houston Astros roster, joined today the walk organized by the United Citizens for a Healthy Country Foundation (FUNCUPAS). This event aims to raise awareness and support for patients suffering from cancer.

Valdez actively participated in the walk, walking the route with friends and family, in a gesture of solidarity with this noble cause. As a sponsor of the event, the left-handed pitcher not only contributed financially, but also provided a vehicle equipped with Christian music to encourage participants during the activity.

Recognized for his commitment to the community, Framber Valdez has been involved in various charitable initiatives, including financing the construction of an evangelical church in his hometown of Guayacanes.

Upon hearing about the FUNCUPAS walk, Valdez decided to sponsor the event, reflecting his dedication to causes that benefit others.
