There was a beautiful banner of more than a hundred meters on display, the kick-off was provided by 101-year-old Lieutenant Eugeniusz Niedzielski and there was an atmospheric action after 19 minutes and 44 seconds.

Earlier in the evening, volunteers Wendy Dujardin, Leon Deckers, Martijn Koks and Myrthe Koppelaars already received a Polish award. The foursome has invested excessive energy in strengthening and cherishing the memory of Poland’s efforts for independence during and after the Second World War.
