3 predictions for the Dallas Cowboys game against the San Francisco 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys return from the bye this week with a game against the San Francisco 49ers.

In recent years the 49ers won a lot against the Cowboys, twice in the playoffs. If there is a team that gives the Cowboys problems, it is San Francisco.

But these 49ers look more different at the moment. Now they are not going to have Brandon Aiyuk and we are going to see if Deebo Samuel or George Kittle plays. On the other hand, the Cowboys also have a lot of injuries.

What are we going to see when the teams play? Here are my three predictions for the game.

Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy combine for 2 or more interceptions

Entering Week 8 of the season the two quarterbacks in the league that have the most attempts in tight windows are Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy.

This statistic indicates that Dallas and San Francisco are figuring it out on offense. I think both Prescott and Purdy are going to do something more aggressive and when quarterbacks play, they lead to interceptions.

Give me a minus two from Dak and Brock combines.

The first possession for San Francisco goes 3 and out

As we discussed above, the 49ers are not the 49ers at the moment.

Without players like Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk and let’s see Deebo Samuel and George Kittle… they are not the giants that the Cowboys destroyed in years past.

San Francisco is going to need time to see what Dallas is doing and the Cowboys are going to want to come out the strongest in the game. For these reasons I believe that San Francisco’s first possession will go 3 and out. A little something won for Dallas.

Cowboys have 80 or fewer yards rushing

Now the Cowboys played in six total games. In these specific games, he has four with 80 or fewer yards rushing.

These results are for two primary reasons. In one arena the Cowboys can’t run very well. Players Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott are down in many running stats. On the other hand, the Cowboys played against teams that came out on the first court against them. When he passes teams he needs to throw the ball and cannot run.

I think the same circumstances could happen in San Francisco and that Dallas has another game where he has 80 or fewer yards rushing.
