BASSENHEIM. The Bassenheim women wanted to build on the good second half from the game in the Hunsrück, but it didn’t work and in the end they had to accept another clear defeat (19:45).
When Bassenheim’s coach Yvonne Thon took the first timeout after almost 8 minutes of the game, her team was already behind 1:7 and had once again missed the start. When the second timeout followed just 22 minutes into the game, things didn’t look any better. At this early stage the game was already decided at 3:16 and the team went into the locker room 6:22 behind. Anyone who had hoped that Bassenheim would improve like last week in the Hunsrück was only partially confirmed. Although Bassenheim increased somewhat, this should not change the outcome of the game. In the end, the guests from Budenheim celebrated a clear 19:45 away win.
