The 62nd Italian archery championship ends today in Camaiore. An important event, with the season beginning its downward spiral, for the accommodation facilities in the area: 212 clubs present and 840 archers competing, including many fresh from participation in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics. The choice of Camaiore as the venue for the 2024 FitArc championships was promoted by Kentron Dard with the patronage of the Municipality. With the conclusion of today’s competitions, the Italian class and overall, individual and team titles in recurve bow (Olympic bow), compound bow and bare bow are awarded. Also counting the technicians and companions present, there are over 2,000 people involved in archery in Camaiore and the surrounding area. It is, in fact, the most important federal event of the season, which features the best archers from the youth, senior and master classes, including the Olympic and Youth National Teams.
