A stick on each side, a few more chances, but no goals. The first-ever Silesian second division derby between Opava and Ostrava’s reserve team Baník, moreover, for the first time on a neutral ground, ended in a draw in front of less than four hundred spectators. Libor Kozák and Patrik Měkota came closest to success in the duel of the 13th round of the Chance National League, but both of them only hit the post with their heads.
The first half didn’t offer anything for a long time, only some hints of the visiting team’s chances. Měkot only had a real chance at the end, when he hit the crossbar with his head, and then goalkeeper Richter was stretched by shots from Fomba and especially Komljenović. Jackuliak headed wide.
Srubek had Opava’s greatest chance, but from a promising position on the edge of the sixteen, he ended up only hitting goalkeeper Kubné’s gloves.
Baník started the second half more actively, but Slezský had the upper hand. Kozák, however, headed only into the post. Rataj also had a promising opportunity, but he overshot. Rezek did not change his hopeful escape in any way.

Mužík practically had a goal on his feet, but he couldn’t get the ball over the line through Kubné. Ten minutes before the end, Richter was checked by Jaroň. He didn’t give. Just like Rezek, he didn’t turn his run into a goal. That’s also why the teams split without goals.
