Kevin Durant, eighth NBA player to reach 29,000 points

Kevin Durant became the eighth player in NBA history to score 29,000 points in his career, reaching the mark on Saturday night when his Phoenix Suns beat the Dallas Mavericks by 114-102.

During this elite list of players who have reached the barrier of 29,000 points, headed by LeBron Jamesthe NBA’s leading scorer with 40,543 points. Behind James are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, Wilt Chamberlain y Durant.

Durant36 years old, is tenth on the combined NBA and ABA listcon Julius Erving eighth and Moses Malone ninth.
