4. Jones with difficulty against Wilson
As well as Christian Gonzalez had Davante Adams under control, Garrett Wilson caused Marcus Jones just as many problems. The Jets’ other really strong receiver kept leaving Jones behind and totaled 113 yards that afternoon. Of course, Jones wasn’t solely responsible, but he was still responsible for Wilson most of the time and just couldn’t stop him often enough. With Kyle Dugger, the Patriots’ starting safety, out with an ankle injury, the assignment didn’t always seem to be the best fit.
