After the loss in the previous game, the floorball players of the “Ķekava/RB&B” club, the vice-leaders of the Latvian Premier League, returned to the winning ways on Friday evening. On the other hand, in the tournament of the first league, “Ķekavas Bulldogs” experienced another failure. “SĀC”/”Enfriho” floorball players also lost in the league championship.
In the last round of the first round, the “Ķekava/RB&B” team met on the road with the runners-up of the league tournament “Kurši” of Liepāja and lost 1:2 after the first third. However, in the continuation, the ball flew only into Liepaja’s goal, and in the end the victory was more than convincing – 12:2. Kārlis Degins stood out with three accurate shots and three assists, Klāvas Jansons 2+2, Mārtiņš Hertmanis and Tom Ķeirans 2+1 each.
The second match of the Super League tournament within 24 hours was played by the floorball club “SĀC”/”Enfriho”, which had stopped the eight-game winning streak of the leaders Talsa NSS/”Krauzers” on Thursday at their field in Ādaži. This time away, the opponents were “Rubene” from Kocēni, which is below the table. The middle of the second third was fatal for the guests, when they conceded three goals in three and a half minutes, lost 2:5 and were unable to equalize – 5:8 (1+1 for Dēvid Osīt).
In the Premier League tournament table, “Ķekava/RB&B” keeps the second place (21 points in 9 games) behind Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” (24 points in 9 games). “SĀC”/”Enfrijo” is in the fourth position (13 p. 10 sp.), and FS “Masters”/Ulbroka – in the eighth (8 p. 8 sp.).
In the first league of Latvia, the floorball players of “Ķekavas Bulldogs” experienced their fourth loss in five games. At home against the Estonian club “Sparta team Automaailm” from the city of Meriam, Kekavians were leading 3:1 at the beginning of the third period, but they conceded four goals in a row and lost 3:6 in the end (Mārtiņš Urtāns 2+0).
During the weekend, floorball games of various levels are planned in Ulbrok, Inchukalna, Saulkrasti and Baloži.
