Date that was chosen since it is the birthday of the creator of this martial arts <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/01/a-judo-champion-for-the-veterans-camp/” title=”A judo champion for the veterans' camp”>Jigoro Kano.
The main objective of this day is unite judokas from all over the world, in addition to making this discipline and the values on which it is based known, to all people who are interested in learning it or are simply curious about martial arts.
All martial arts are a path of improvement for the practitioner, therefore, they not only perfect the body and mind, they also make you a better person. In the case of judokas, the moral values that they must internalize are the following:
Courtesy: Represents respect for others, regardless of whether they are an opponent at that moment.
Courage: It is about doing what is fairest.
Sincerity: Say what you think and feel, without any masks.
The honor: Being faithful to your word and commitments.
Modesty: Talking about oneself without pride, but not in a pitiful way either.

Self-control: Develop emotional intelligence and self-control.
Friendship: Fraternize with everyone in a pure way.
Loyalty: Being there for others and reaching out.
Gratitude: Be grateful for everything that is received correctly.
The best anime series about judo
Judo Boy: This is a Japanese anime created by Tatsuo Yoshida and directed by Ippei Kuri. The story follows the adventures of Sanshiro, a teenage student at the Kurenai Jiujitsu School. Throughout the story he searches for his father’s murderer, a man with only one eye.
Yawara!: Another anime classic that is based on judo. Yawara Inokuma is a girl who aspires to do the activities of other children. However, she has innate qualities for martial arts, so her grandfather, Jigorou Inokuma, wants to make her the next star judoka in the family and have her compete in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Throughout the story she is repulsed by him. judo, since she is forced to practice it, but as time goes by she comes to appreciate this martial art and even enjoy it.
Inakappe Taish?: This hilarious series tells the story of Daizaemon, a young man who wants to learn judo and that is why he travels to the capital of Japan, Tokyo, to train with a friend of his father. Upon arriving at the house he meets the sensei’s daughter, Kikuko, with whom he falls in love at first sight, and her cat Nyanko, who becomes his teachers. The story has several humorous twists and a unique protagonist who manages to become a great champion.
