Since the start of the match, Juventus has shown courage by being able to handle Inter Milan’s attractive game. They responded quickly when Inter scored the first goal.
However, when the Nerazzurri (as Inter Milan were known) increased their lead, many began to doubt Juventus’ ability to do so comeback.
Even Alessandro Del Piero admitted that he was not sure if Juventus could turn things around. He even thought that Inter might score again to make the score 5-2.
“Do I expect Juventus to come back? No. After Inter went 4-2 up, they appeared strong and had more than one or two chances to make it 5-2,” said Del Piero, quoted from Sky Sports Italia.
“I think this is a big regret for Inter Milan. Di Gregorio was a hero, and several shots only narrowly missed the goal post,” he continued.
