Ducati racer Francesco Bagnaia openly praise Marc Marquez which helped him win the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2024/10/jorge-martins-stellar-performance-marc-marquezs-reaction-and-insights-into-motogp-thrills/" title="Jorge Martin's Stellar Performance: Marc Marquez's Reaction and Insights into MotoGP Thrills”>2024 Thailand MotoGP at the Buriram Circuit, Sunday (27/10).
Bagnaia won the 2024 Thailand MotoGP after starting in pole position. Meanwhile Jorge Martin won the second podium.
With victory at the Thailand MotoGP, Bagnaia continues to put pressure on Jorge Martin, who is currently still at the top of the 2024 MotoGP standings. Bagnaia is 17 points behind Martin.

After winning in Buriram, Bagnaia praised Marquez and admitted that The Baby Alien helped him win in Thailand.
“I know how strong he is in the wet, but I also have good potential and an advantage in terms of traction when exiting the first and third corners. He helped me win,” said Bagnaia as quoted by Motosan.
Bagnaia and Marquez had a fierce duel. On lap 14 Bagnaia was in leading position, while Marquez was in second position.
However, the racer born in Cervera fell when trying to overtake Marquez. Even though he was able to continue racing, Marquez finished 11th and failed to become world champion after losing many points.
“Fighting with Marc is not easy, also because he is faster than me, but today’s victory was very important,” said Bagnaia.
“I braked very hard in the last corner to not give him much chance to attack me. I saw Martin lose the rear in the second last corner, so I kept a little distance, so he could get closer. Marc was very close, I could hear the sound of his engine,” said Bagnaia added.
