HYLO Open 2024 – with live broadcast for the first time

Saarbrücken. The HYLO Open, the World Tour Super 300 event, the badminton highlight in the fall, will be presented for the first time this year through a live broadcast. HYLO OPEN LIVE focuses on the performances of the German players – including the mixed doubles of Jones Jansen and Thuc Nguyen, who reached the European Championship quarter-finals at the same venue in April. Mark Lamsfuß is still missing from the men’s doubles due to injury, his partner Marvin Seidel is playing alongside Daniel Hess at this year’s HYLO Open. Seidel is piling low: “We consciously don’t have high expectations and just want to develop further game by game.”

National coach Hannes Käsbauer is optimistic about the week: “We are really looking forward to the HYLO Open, because it is a real home game for many people. We have a lot of athletes in the field and will attack fully.”
