New night of NBA and the program is rather light for this evening. Only four posters on the menu. Does this mean we should take advantage of it to sleep? Certainly not.
The evening NBA program
- Minnesota Timberwolves – Dallas Mavericks at 0h30
- Brooklyn Nets – Denver Nuggets at 12:30 a.m.
- Utah Jazz – Sacramento Kings at 2 a.m.
- Golden State Warriors – New Orleans Pelicans à 3h
Luka Doncic vs Anthony Edwards…and that’s it?
The main poster of this evening is of course the duel between the Timberwolves and the Mavericks, the remake of last season’s conference finals even if some heads have changed.
The trio Luka Doncic – Kyrie Irving – Klay Thompson puts on their sneakers again to challenge the Wolves ready to welcome them with the duo Anthony Edwards – Julius Randle.
Headlining this match is of course the duel between Luka and Ant-Man. Two players who hope to be able to take their team as far as possible and why not get their hands on the MVP trophy at the same time. This type of meeting is the perfect time to send a message to all the competition.
Behind this match, three less exciting posters, but which still deserve a little attention.
The Nuggets are heading to Brooklyn to challenge the Nets and finally show that they can play serious basketball. Because if we take stock of Denver’s start to the season, it’s not great: a shakeout against OKC, a clutch defeat against the Clippers and a narrow victory against Toronto. For the moment, we are far from the level of a title contender. Opposite, it’s Brooklyn and Cam Thomas, who hopes to string together another game with more than 30 points.
The Jazz will try to get their first victory against the Kings of a trio DeMar DeRozan – Domantas Sabonis – De’Aaron Fox which is experiencing some getting started problems.
The infirmary duel
The last poster of the night pits the Warriors against the Pelicans. In theory, this match had everything to be enticing, but injuries got in the way. No Dejounte Murray, no Stephen Curry. On the Pelicans side, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram will try to lead New Orleans to victory. On the Warriors side, the whole question is precisely who can raise their level of play in the absence of the Chief. The first elements of response from 3 a.m.
