The Huelva Swimming Club‘s Tragamillas crown the Open Water Circuit of the Huelva Provincial Council
With great pride and excitement, the Huelva Swimming Club celebrates the success of its brave open water swimmers known as “The Tragamillas”, who have completed their participation in the prestigious Open Water Circuit of the Provincial Council of Huelva. This challenge ended last weekend in the fabulous facilities of the new Portil yacht club with participation in the V Swimming Crossing of the Piedras Riverin which Huelva athletes left a memorable mark.
In this last test of the circuit, Aitana Gómez shone by proclaiming herself the women’s general championan achievement that confirms his talent and effort throughout the entire season. For its part, Rubén Camacho reached first place in the men’s classificationalso demonstrating their skill and resistance in open water.
Standing out among individual achievements, Manuel Camacho secured second place in the children’s categorywhile Cristian Rodríguez achieved an outstanding position as second place in the junior category. Besides, Uriel Farauste reached fourth place in the children’s categorya notable merit that reaffirms the strength and dedication of our young swimmers.
From the board of directors of the Huelva Swimming Club, we would like to congratulate the Nautical Club and the Cartaya City Council for the wonderful organization of the event, which allowed participants to enjoy an exceptional day of sports. The club hopes to continue competing in this journey in the coming years, contributing to the growth of open water swimming in the province.
