The athlete Rosalia Storaci from Terrasini flies to Greece to try to achieve yet another martial arts victory, specifically in the discipline of ju jitsu. The young woman, in fact, has been summoned to Heraklion where she will defend the colors of the Italian national team.

We are talking about a sporting event that will see the best martial arts artists in the world competing for titles in an intense display of technique and skill. The athlete from Terrasini is in the under 16-52 kilo category in the ju jitsu discipline.

“We want to wish our champion Rosi Storaci good luck – said the mayor Giosuè Maniaci and the councilor Nunzio Maniaci – who is preparing to leave for the ju jitsu world championships which will take place in Heraklion in Greece”. Furthermore, Councilor Maniaci himself personally worked to find a sponsor to help the girl face the journey and the expenses for this expedition.

Rosalia Storaci, despite her young age, has achieved a series of successes. The latest last spring when he participated in the European Judo Championships in Romania. In that case the young woman represented the Akiyama Budo Club gym. At the European Championships Rosalia Storaci won the bronze medal in the “fighting” category under 16-52 kilos.
