Valeria Cruz, from the Riobamba Fire Department, won a gold medal in the “Firefighters Trail 2024”, which took place in Morona Santiago.
The competition brought together firefighters from all over the country and had a demanding 7 km route, where participants used forest protection equipment at all times.
In this sense, in the female category, the Riobamba Fire Department achieved first place with Valeria Cruz.
In the men’s category, the uniformed men also made themselves noticed by placing themselves among the first 10 places.
