<a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/01/eduard-atuesta-palmeiras-and-preparation-for-the-2022-club-world-cup-colombians-abroad/" title="Eduard Atuesta Palmeiras and preparation for the 2022 Club World Cup | Colombians Abroad”>Abel Ferreira celebrated four years in charge of Palmeiras yesterday, but he has been the Portuguese coach to offer gifts to friends and co-workers in Brazil. The technician launched a limited edition of 100 personalized wine boxes, to be distributed among 100 people. Each with a bottle of ‘Reserva do Comendador 2018’, an Alentejo wine produced by Adega Mayor in honor of Rui Nabeiro.
In addition to the bottle, the box contains a text signed by Abel. “In life, as in sport, victory is born from creativity, strategy and passion. This wine is a toast to excellence, love and teamwork”, it can be read. The initiative comes from the technician’s love for oenology. According to the Brazilian press, it is a regular presence in some of the most prestigious wineries in São Paulo.
Abel Ferreira marked his four years in Verdão with a message to the fans. “What I thought would be four months became four years. From north to south, I felt the affection of the Palmeiras family. We cried together, we lost together and, most importantly, we won together.”
