The boys played an excellent race, and performed well in the context of the level required by the competition
Bordighera. The weekend of last October 18-20, the Judo club Simonazzi from Bordighera took part with three cadet class athletes in the eighteenthInternational Judo tournament ‘Koroska open’”, a prestigious international tournament that takes place every year in Slovenia. Convened with the Ligurian representative and followed by their technician Filippo Quaglia – in charge of the trip – the three Simonazzi Judo athletes Alessia Calimera, Francesca Lanzafame and Francesco Quaglia walked on an international level tatami with a high technical competitive content. The three athletes, although in their first year as cadets, played an excellent race, and performed well in the context of the level required by the competition.
A great experience and an important call-up gained thanks to the sacrifices and dedication that the boys “put on the carpet” during training which sees them engaged every day at the Bordighera sports hall, home of the Simonazzi Judo club, in via Diaz, near the municipal swimming pool. As always, coach Filippo Quaglia thanks the families and athletes for theirI commit profuse.
