Cycling enthusiasts who are eagerly awaiting the presentation of the Giro d’Italia 2025 route will have to wait a little longer. The presentation was scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, but has been postponed for unknown reasons.
The organization behind the Tour of Italy, RCS Sport, announced this on Thursday in a press release. This not only concerns the route of the upcoming Giro d’Italia for men, but also the route of the Giro d’Italia Women 2025. “We will come up with a new date for the presentation as soon as possible,” it said.
The presentation of the 2025 Giro d’Italia and Giro d’Italia Women has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.

So we will have to wait a little longer for the final route of the 108th edition of The Pink Race. In an interview with BiciSport Giro boss Mauro Vegni has already explained what the Giro will broadly look like in 2025. The Grande Partenza will be in Albania, where the first three stages will be held in the Balkan country. The finish is in Rome.

“After Albania we leave for the Puglia region,” Vegni said about the southern region the heel of the boot. “And to get from the south to the north you need many stages, because there should be no long transfers. Due to the rules, we are also not allowed to exceed 3,500 kilometers, so the stages and transfers must be shorter.”
“The Giro will have a schedule like this year, there will not be an extremely tough final week like two years ago. It will be a difficult ending, but well balanced,” says the Giro boss, who also has surprises in store. “These could be unpaved roads, but also other things.
