Ghana Badminton has announced that its premier 2024 President Cup will take place at the Badminton Arena at the Borteyman Sports Complex from 26-27 December 2024.
This celebrated event, widely regarded as the pinnacle of Ghana’s badminton calendar, promises an exciting showdown for the title of “National Champion” across five categories: men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
In a bid to elevate competition standards, the tournament will offer players an opportunity to earn coveted ranking points, gain access to educational scholarships, and compete for the largest prize purse in the President’s Cup’s history, though the specific amount is yet to be disclosed by Ghana Badminton.
This year’s edition is set to attract the country’s top talent and new hopefuls, all vying to leave a mark on the national stage.
Registration is now open, inviting current members of Ghana Badminton to secure their spots by 30 November 2024 at 11:59 PM GMT.
Non-members eager to participate can also join Ghana Badminton and register online before the deadline.
