The Secretariat of Sports and Recreation, dependent on the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Province, has everything defined to take part in the 2024 edition of the Evita National Sports Games, which will take place from November 4 to 9 in the city of Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires.
With a wide participation where twelve departments were represented with a total of 360 athletes, the evaluation in Catamarca was developed in the best way and made it possible for children from different places in the province to interact and fraternize, one of the basic aspects of the Games.
Now, in “Mardel”, around 8,000 children and young people from all over the country will compete in the categories: Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16 and Under 18 (adapted sport). With a rich history, the “Evita” will host 36 sports disciplines in the 2024 edition, which are: athletics, adapted athletics, badminton, 3×3 basketball, adapted 3×3 basketball, BMX freestyle, boccia (adapted), boxing , canoeing, cycling, fencing, freestyle, futsal, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, goalball, beach handball, hockey 7, judo,
karate, wrestling, Olympic lifting, swimming, adaptive swimming, skateboarding, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, adaptive table tennis, shooting, archery, triathlon, rugby, volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball.
For the Catamarca delegation, being able to participate is a success, thanks to the commitment of the provincial government to accompany our young athletes. The experience of personal and sporting growth will be the most important value of the Evita 2024 National Sports Games.
