Trio of successes in DR1 for the young Giallorossi
Another victory for Costruzioni Valentino Pallacanestro Alghero, who beat Pallacanestro Aurea Sassari with a score of 69-82. The one obtained in Sassari is the third consecutive success, which came at the end of a not at all simple match. In fact, the young Giallorossi struggled at the start of the match, also thanks to the absence of several seniors, suffering the energy of their opponents, skilled at playing in transition and punishing from the arc.
Then the SAP comeback, played by the young Murru, who restores confidence in his teammates, allowing them to close the gap and make the extension which will then lead them to lead until the final siren. A match that gave great satisfaction, and which also proved to be an excellent testing ground for the young Giallorossi: coach Brembilla was in fact able to give space to all the members of the team.
But the match numbers say much more: the team that took to the field yesterday was a very young team, with a starting quintet made up only of Under players. An important element that makes the club proud of the work it is doing on its young people. Important performances by Fabio Rosas, called to replace his brother in the control room, who was able to fill the role excellently, and by Tiziano Fonnesu, sixth man of the match with his determination and energy, as well as the previously cited Federico Murru.
