Serie A returns to the field on Saturday 2 November wheelchair basketball for the third round of the regular season, after the break in the last week dedicated to Super Cup Italian won in San Marino by Unipol Briantea84 are S. Stefano.
Five matches during the afternoon starting from 3pm, ending with the evening postponement in Meda, where the Italian champions Briantea84 will host the ambitious Asinara Waves (formerly Gsd Porto Torres) at 8.30pm, for one of the most anticipated matches of the day: the Lombards in fact started the season in the best possible way, putting on the board the seventh Super Cup in their history and scoring two successes out of two in the championship, while for the Sardinians – having archived the debut defeat against S. Stefano – achieved their first success in recovery against Treviso.
Two matches at 3pm: in Giulianova Deco Amicacci Abruzzoone of the three teams still with full points, will host the Reggio Calabria BIC Pellicanò Pharmacywhich before the break established itself with an important home success against Dinamo, relaunching its candidacy for the top parts of the table; while in Bergamo theSBS Montello will host the Crich PDM Trevisoa match between two clubs still chasing their first win of the season.
Two more matches at 3.30pm: the S. Stefano Kos Group they will look for redemption at home after San Marino’s defeat in the Super Cup against the newly promoted side Self Group Millennium Basketstill with zero points in the standings; while in Sorso la Dinamo Lab Bank of Sardinia will host the Menarini Florence Volpi Rossecross between two of the teams with one victory and one defeat in this start to the regular season.
The match will come transmitted also on the canale Twitch of Italbasket, with a pre-match starting from around 2.50 pm organized by the FIPIC Communications Office. This is the first broadcast in collaboration with the FIP for this season, in the renewal of a now consolidated partnership that will bring the wheelchair basketball championship on the web channels of the Italian Basketball Federation for the entire course of the year.
