Information about Atlético x Flamengo in the Copa do Brasil final
The CBF defined the field hosts for the Copa do Brasil final through a draw held at the entity’s headquarters, located in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo will host the first match of the final at Maracanã, on November 3rd. On the other hand, Arena MRV, home of Atlético-MG, will be the stage for the decisive clash, scheduled for November 10th.
The tournament decision will be decided using a round-trip match system. Thus, each team present in the final will have the opportunity to play at home at least once. Classification for decision guarantees a minimum quota of R$31.5 million, in case of runner-up. The champion wins R$73.5 million.
It is worth remembering that goals scored in the opponent’s territory have no weight. In other words, they will not be used as tiebreaker criteria to determine the winner of the tournament. In the event of a tie in the aggregate score of the final, the decision on the Copa do Brasil title will go to penalties.

Arrival in the final
Atlético-MG reached the final of the Copa do Brasil after eliminating Vasco in the semifinals of the tournament. The clash against Cruzmaltino ended with a victory for the team from Minas Gerais with a minimal difference in the aggregate score: 3 to 2. Likewise, Flamengo eliminated Corinthians in the previous phase by winning the result of both matches by 1 to 0.
