The Santoña City Council will allocate 250,000 euros for municipal schools and sports clubs. Thus, it was agreed, unanimously in the Plenary Session of the Corporation with the votes of Santoñeses, PP, PSOE, Vox and PRC.
As for municipal sports schools, 131,000 euros are granted, distributed as follows: 20,000 for rowing, another 20,000 for swimming-water polo, 25,000 for basketball, 26,000 for football, 4,000 for sailing, 7,000 for Torch for athletics, 3,000 for multisport, 7,000 for tennis, 3,000 to Abelardo Ruiz for bowling, 4,000 for judo, 2,000 for boxing, 5,000 for skating, 3,000 for rhythmic gymnastics and 2,000 for chess.
Regarding sports clubs and entities, 85,000 euros are awarded, such that the Rowing Club receives 15,000, Swimming-Water Polo receives 9,000, Sailing receives 3,000 and the Torch receives 6,000.
They are joined by Basketball with 7,000, Multisport with 4,000, Soccer with 8,000, Caving-Mountaineering with 3,000, Paddle with 2,000, Tennis, 1,000, Fencing, 2,000, Kayaking, 6,000 and Wild Boar, 3,000, the same amount as Volleyball. and the Rugby.
Finally, bowling takes 1,000, judo receives 5,000, boxing with 1,000, the same amount as Dune Skating, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Chess, a total of 85,000 euros.
Likewise, they contemplate 34,000 euros, pending allocation and in case there is any incident, explained the Councilor for Sports, Vanesa San Emeterio (PP).
On the other hand, Vanesa San Emeterio (PP) will chair the Celebrations Commission and Leoncio Calle San Martín (PP) will chair the Services, Companies, Markets and Commerce Commission.
Likewise, the two Commissions on Citizen Security and Transparency and Citizen Participation are unified into one with the same name. The PSOE and Vox complained about the lack of calls from the Transparency Commission.
