Shooter Danka Barteková married her boyfriend Patrik just a few days ago. From now on, not only in her private life, but also in sports, she will perform and represent Slovakia under the name Hrbeková. What else is he planning? She waited longer for love, as a famous friend revealed them first!
Successful shooter and bronze medalist from the 2012 Olympics Danka Barteková (40) married her longtime partner Patrik Hrbek (32) on Saturday. During the ceremony in Voderady and subsequently at the fabulous wedding reception in a nearby mansion, she wore a beautiful dress from the workshop of designer Boris Hanečka. Many current or former Slovak and world sportswomen kept their maiden name after marriage and added their husband’s surname. Barteková, however, decided otherwise.

She never even thought about the double last name.
“From the beginning of our relationship, I had it set up so that if we got married, I would take Patrik’s last name as well. He did not insist on it, quite the contrary. Well, I feel like we’re a family now, and if we manage to have children in the future, they’ll grow up with parents with the same last name.” she said for New Time Danka.
The new wife also revealed that she had been practicing her new signature for a long time.

“A year ago, I was trying to figure out how to sign myself,” she laughed. Danka already has new documents with the surname Hrbeková, and at the same time she also has a competition vest with a new name already made for sports events.
Engagement just before Paris
The newlyweds will enjoy their newly sealed love on their honeymoon.
“We definitely plan to do it, but we don’t know when yet, as I have work obligations now. But we will definitely plan something and enjoy it with Patrik,” added Mrs. Hrbeková.
Just before leaving for the Summer Olympics in Paris 2024, Patrik knelt down in front of Danka and asked her to marry him. A beautiful gold ring with a blue diamond had been shining on her finger since the summer. No one around her knew about the engagement. But it was a very powerful gesture for Danka at the time:

How do they know each other? Moravcová revealed their great love
Danka has known her beloved Patrik for many years, but they have only been a couple for the past 24 months. Martina Moravcová was the first to unexpectedly reveal their dating some time ago. The former swimmer posted a photo from Dallas on Instagram with the comment:
“Special visitors from Slovakia.” In the picture, she was with her husband Martin, Danka and Patrik Hrbek, who was holding Danka by the shoulder.

Hrbek is well known in the world of sports. He is the chairman of the legislative and legal commission of the SOŠV, and his domain is sports legislation. Danka has also been a member since 2013.
Patrik is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava and before coming to SOŠV he worked at the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic.

She waited for the right one, her relationships didn’t work out
The relationship with Cmorík ended after 4 years, there were no further ones either. Danka also dated the singer Peter Cmorík in the past and they got together shortly after Cmorík won the popular singing show Slovakia is looking for a Superstar. They were together for four years, but there were several rumors about various scandals around them. The reason for their breakup in 2010 was supposed to be infidelity on the part of the singer.

Danka did not find happiness even with the coach of canoeists Petr Likér.
In 2019, she appeared on Kristáľov kříl alongside the handsome Andrej, but he was not from the world of sports, and this relationship also failed. After the coronavirus pandemic, she was alone for a longer time.
