Fenerbahçe Council Board Meeting: Addressing the Galatasaray Incident and Its Impact on Rivalry

Fenerbahçe Club General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan made statements regarding the club activities at the High Council Board meeting of the yellow-dark blue club.

Kızılhan, who conveyed the activity reports to the members at the meeting at Fenerbahçe Faruk Ilgaz Facilities in Kalamış, also gave information about the club’s sponsorship agreements.

SENDING SPONSORSHIP TO GALATASARAY

Kızılhan stated that the sponsorship agreements made were a success in increasing revenue and marketing power. “Fenerbahçe’s sponsorship agreements are pure, legal and based on halal earnings.” He made a reference to his arch-rival Galatasaray.

Emphasizing that some competitors have a two-faced attitude on this issue, Kızılhan continued as follows:

“One of our rivals recently caused a scandal by advertising an illegal betting company on his jersey. However, as always, when the issue came to the fore, they tried to divert the issue with contradictory and inconsistent statements. While they were looking for a cover for their scandal, they targeted the completely legal and transparent agreement we made with Pasha Group As always, they engaged in manipulation. This situation revealed their desperation, so much so that they had nothing left to say about this agreement they criticized, and we see that they, as Fenerbahçe, were not tired of the law, transparency and morality. “We will continue to walk on the lines drawn by us. We leave this consistent attitude of non-stop stance displayed by our opponents to the discretion of the public.”

“WE HAVE ULTIMATE CONFIDENCE IN OUR TEAM”

Kızılhan concluded his words by drawing attention to the Trabzonspor match that will be played tomorrow:

“We have endless confidence in our team under the leadership of our coach Jose Mourinho. We will play an important match against Trabzonspor tomorrow. Even though our fans are not in the stadium, we always feel their support. I wholeheartedly believe that we will return from the away game with a victory. We believe that we will achieve the success we aim for both in the league and in Europe full.”
