Within the framework of the “Sympathetic Iran” campaign in Islamic Iran to support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples who are facing difficulties and crises as a result of the Zionist aggression against them, a friendly football match took place in one of Tehran’s stadiums between the teams of the Al-Rawadid Association and the Husseini Minbar Service and media activists, with the participation of a number of veteran Iranian club players.
Reda Nirimani, a member of the Husseini pulpit service, told the world camera: “This event is in order to announce our solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples, and we hope that the Zionists will disappear in the near future.”
For his part, correspondent Ali Rezvani said, “Today, through this match, we see another form of sympathetic Iran, and what is important in it is attendance in order to sympathize with the oppressed.”
Muhammad Ansari, the veteran player for Persepolis Club, told Al-Alam correspondent: “Athletes in our country always attend such events, and today we came to say that we will never leave the Palestinian and Lebanese people.”
After the speech of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in which His Eminence stressed, “The resistance must be supported,” the “Sympathetic Iran” campaign was launched throughout the country, during which the people contributed and offered all the donations they could.
Such events were also held to support the Palestinians and Lebanese and to demonstrate the prevailing spirit of sympathy among Iranians.
Vahid Shamsai, the veteran player and coach of the Iranian national futsal team, assured the world: “Sympathetic Iran is an event that proved that the Iranian people support the oppressed in any way and under all circumstances.”
Reda Hilali, one of the servants of the Husseini pulpit, confirmed: “We came today to say that we will not abandon our Palestinian and Lebanese people, and we are with them and will help them, and certainly victory will be theirs despite the small number.”
This solidarity by Iranians sends an important message to everyone, which is that the Iranian people have united their voice in supporting humanitarian cases and condemning all aggression and injustice.
“Sympathetic Iran” is not just a campaign to collect financial aid, but rather a message of support for resistance and steadfastness to all who struggle against the Zionist entity.
