All the federations paraded with the flags of their clubs and their Autonomous Communities in an event full of enthusiasm and feeling for all the participants, which had its high point with the presentation of the Valencian federation, and the incessant applause of support for the tragedy that his countrymen are experiencing these days.
Participants from all over Spain have colored the “El Jaenal” sports complex, which closed the opening ceremony with speeches from the delegate of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation, as well as the mayor of the town, Lucas. Castillo, who thanked all entities for trusting Yunquera to hold this prestigious championship and encouraged the participants to get to know each and every corner of our town. After the speeches, the authorities held a heartfelt minute of silence in memory of those killed by DANA, ending the inauguration with the performance of the Tórtola de Henares rondalla.
With the competition already started and with the record of 543 participants, more than 1,500 people passed through “El Jaenal” and were able to enjoy a great Friday day with the first qualifying circuits that gave way to the semifinals and finals to be played during the rest of the weekend.
The competition will continue throughout the day from today until tomorrow at noon when all the winners are awarded and the championship closes.
