The program becomes a real feast of positive energy and fun thanks to the presence of the multi badminton champion, Carolina Marín, originating from Huelva and recently awarded the Princess of Asturias award.
The famous athlete joins a varied array of sections and games that test her intuition, as well as that of Bertín and his collaborators.
Besides, Susana Saborido subjects the guest to a ‘Third grade‘, in which he asks her revealing questions, such as how far she would be willing to go to win or if she has ever been confused with another athlete.
“It has been years since I was so well known, they confused me with Mireia Belmonte or they confused my racket or whether I was the volleyball athlete,” she explains.
Carolina also confesses to us what the Most embarrassing moment I wish I hadn’t experienced. “While in the Olympic village in the restaurant I heard someone calling me but I was focused and I didn’t see who was calling me. And, suddenly, they tapped me on the shoulder and it was Pau Gasol who was calling me” says the athlete.
Furthermore, we discovered that Carolina speaks English and a little bit of Indonesian and even tried to learn Chinese.
The athlete also confesses “I am terrible at names and for actors, actresses or singers, I know who they are but I don’t remember their names.”
Regarding superstitions, Carolina says that when she goes to play she always wears a medal of the Virgin of Rocío that her parents gave her, the initial of her name and a wolf that her coaches gave her.
Another anecdote that Carolina remembers was during a flight on the way back from the Olympics afteru knee injury: “They were some words that a stewardess said and that reflected the love and support that people conveyed to me at that moment.”
