News from the Government of Santa Fe

After participating in all the competition events planned in Santa Fe en Movimiento, the Government of the Province formed the delegation of 275 athletes who will defend the flag of ‘La Invencible’ in the Evita National Games that will be held from Monday the 4th to Saturday the 9th of November in the city of Mar del Plata.

The delegation, made up of a total of 396 people, will leave Rosario this Sunday night and, prior to the trip, there will be an entertainment in which they will be recognized for the effort already made in the competition stages, to motivate them to enjoy a great experience, as well as to provide them with the clothing they will use.

Santa Fe in Motion

The athletes chosen to represent the province in the National Games reach this last stage thanks to the Santa Fe en Movimiento Program, an initiative of the government of the province of Santa Fe through the ministries of Equality and Human Development, Education and the Secretariat. of Cooperation.

Through the program, young people from all over the province participated in more than 250 qualifying events, with their respective local, departmental and provincial stages (between July and October) to access the national competition. The athletes came through 1,000 educational institutions and 23 provincial federations.

It should be noted that all instances have been a success for children’s and youth sports in the province of Santa Fe, promoting the practice of a discipline and identifying great talents that in the future could represent us at the National and International level.

The classified participants that make up the Santa Fe delegation come from 17 departments: 9 de Julio, Belgrano, Castellanos, Garay, General López, General Obligado, Iriondo, La Capital, Las Colonias, Rosario, San Cristóbal, San Javier, San Jerónimo, San Justo , San Lorenzo, San Martín and Vera.

Disciplines

In total, in the National Games there will be competition in 32 disciplines: Athletics, Adapted Athletics, Badminton, 3×3 Basketball, Adapted 3×3 Basketball, Boccia, Boxing, Canoeing, Cycling, Fencing, Futsal, Goalball, Beach Handball, Hockey, Judo, Karate , Olympic Lifting, Wrestling, Swimming, Adapted Swimming, Rugby, Skateboarding, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Adapted Table Tennis, Shooting, Archery, Triathlon, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Sitting Volleyball.

The delegation that will represent the Invincible Province of Santa Fe in the National Games is made up of 396 people that include 275 athletes, 76 Technicians, 24 teachers in charge of Sports Logistics, 11 provincial authorities, 6 doctors, 2 people responsible for the category plus 2 communication people.
