GOTHENBURG. Frölunda went on hiatus with the league lead in the SHL.

The star Carl Klingberg was back after the poke and became the scorer.

– It’s an inferno of emotions, says the 33-year-old after the 5-2 victory.

Frölunda took the fifth straight three-pointer and the tenth victory in the last eleven games.

For sensational newcomer Brynäs, it came to an end with the club record of eight consecutive victories tied.

Carl Klingberg was back in Frölunda after being poked in the team recently..

As a substitute, he took the chance and was cool when he converted the 4–1 goal.

– It was really nice to make a case in Scandinavium and finish like this before the break. What it means with everything that happened before here and there, I want to keep to myself, says Carl Klingberg.

Talking for the first time

The high-profile Frölunda forward was poked at home against Luleå, played just over a minute in both games against Skellefteå and was poked at home against Timrå.

Previously, Carl Klingberg did not want to comment on the situation when he was outside the team.

– I haven’t wanted to say much about the whole fad. The coach gets to decide, that’s it. I don’t have much more to say. You have to respect that. You want to play. I have to keep my feelings to myself and let the game speak once I’m in, says Carl Klingberg.

Within 1.20 minutes in the third period, Frölunda scored two quick goals.

Isac Born pushed his own rebound behind Brynäs goalkeeper Erik Källgren and Erik Thorell was able to push the puck in from close range.

Målen föregick av fint förarbete av Dominik Egli and Arttu Ruotsalainen respectively.

First place Frölunda and second place Brynäs squared off in a real showdown in front of a sold-out Scandinavium before the November break.

Frölunda took the lead in the match, Linus Weissbach locked the puck behind the goal cage and Max Friberg was given space to turn the puck in.

Max Friberg also became a two-goal scorer after establishing the final score 5–2 in an empty goal cage.

First goal of the season

Brynäs equalized when Johannes Kinnvall lifted the puck in, thanks in large part to the dusk of Bobby Trivigno in front of the goal.

– It was of course nice. I think I’ve had quite a few situations. Now it finally went in. I want to be an offensive back, it gets frustrating when the goals don’t come, says Johannes Kinnvall.

Jack Kopacka was also able to reduce to 4–2 for Brynäs at the end of the match.

Brynäs came out extremely strong away from home and controlled the game in the first period.

It was followed up with carelessness and wasted pucks, while Frölunda grew into the game with physical and energetic play.

There were many chances in both directions, but both Lasse Johansson and Erik Källgren were stable in goal.
