Leo Gaucho comes from Brazil. He doesn’t have Indonesian blood. So, if he wants to undergo the naturalization process, Leo Gaucho must live in Indonesia for a minimum of five years. He is ready to undergo the process.

“I would like it if Indonesia wants to make me a naturalized player, for me it is very possible because I am very comfortable here,” said Leo Gaucho on a podcast on the Transfermarkt Indonesia YouTube channel.

“For me it is a great possibility to become a naturalized player and play for this great country. I really like it. For me this is a great opportunity to show my work to a great country,” he continued.

In Leo Gaucho’s career, Indonesia was not the first country he visited after leaving Brazil. Before playing for Borneo FC, Leo Gaucho played for several clubs in Latvia.

According to Leo Gaucho, the football atmosphere in Indonesia is very good and that makes him feel comfortable. This factor also made Leo Gaucho interested in defending the Indonesian national team.

“Football needs this. Not only in Indonesia, but in other countries because it is very good here. It is very positive for football here, I really like it. I want to improve every day and every moment,” said Leo Gaucho.
