Vitória Shatters Records at Arena Ligga: A Night of Unforgettable Triumph

O Athletico registered the audience record in a game already Lying Arena and surpassed the final of the Copa Sudamericana 2018. The mark was broken with the defeat to Vitória, which sealed Furacão’s return to the relegation zone of the Brasileirão 2024.

There were 40,047 paying guests, with a total audience of 40,666 present. Until then, the red-black stadium’s record was in the 2018 Copa Sudamericana final, which was Furacão’s first continental title, with 39,618 paying fans (40,263 people in total).

The number still exceeds three Furacão clashes this year that appear on the list of the 10 biggest audiences at the Arena in recent years.

Pact is dropped in the Arena

In the last two weeks, Athletico promoted the “pact” campaign with the fans. The objective was to encourage fans to support the team in bad form.

Now Hurricane is preparing to visit São Paulo. The duel, valid for the 33rd round, is scheduled for next Saturday (9), at 9pm, at Morumbis.
