PITTSBURGH – Slovak hockey player Juraj Slafkovský scored an assist in the NHL night game. On the ice of Pittsburgh, he assisted on Montreal’s only goal, but did not finish the duel after an intervention by home player Noel Acciari.
For Montreal, it was already the third loss in a series, and it fell to the penultimate place in the Eastern Conference table. Slafkovský started in the second formation, played 17:08 minutes and added three shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots to his statistics in addition to assists.

The victory was enjoyed by Martin Fehérváry, whose Washington beat Columbus 7-2, achieved the third triumph in the series and already ranks second in the Eastern Conference. The Slovak defenseman spent the most of his team’s 22:02 minutes on the ice, scoring one plus point and five blocked shots. Washington captain Alexander Ovechkin scored a goal and added two assists.

The Florida Panthers won their fifth NHL game in a row. In the Global Series duel, they beat Dallas Stars players 4:2 in Tampere, Finland. AJ Greer scored the winning goal at the beginning of the third period, and Sam Reinhart sealed the triumph of the “Panthers” in the end with an empty net.
The defending champions of the Stanley Cup defeated the Stars in the second game in Finland. They played well again on Saturday, they led after the first period thanks to Evan Rodrigues and in the middle of the second period they took a two-goal lead thanks to Matthew Tkachuk’s intervention.
But then came two Dallas goals in a span of 34 seconds. Jevgenij Dadonov first used the power play, and Matt Duchene took care of the equalizer right away. Greer finally tipped the scales in favor of Florida after the winning throw in the offensive zone in the 43rd minute. Reinhart added a minute before the end of the match.

Philadelphia suffered its seventh loss of the season, losing to Boston 0:3 at home. In the Bruins jersey, Brad Marchand flashed with two points, scoring a goal and an assist.
