Silver in synchronized diving
Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya won a historic silver medal for Mexico, finishing second in synchronized 3-meter springboard diving.

Shot Put Final
Uziel Muñoz made history by becoming the first Mexican athlete to compete in an Olympic Final in shot put, and although he initially did not achieve the qualifying mark for direct passage to the final, he managed to place himself among the 12 best results so he will be able to compete for medal. Mixed archery
The Mexican team, made up of Alejandra Valencia and Matias Grande, had a good start to the day, winning in 3 sets against the Brazilian team with a score of 5-1. Ale Valencia, with ice in his veins, shot a 10 in his last arrow that assured Mexico’s passage to the next round.
However, unfortunately in the subsequent confrontation against Michelle Kroppen and Florian Unruh of Germany after tying the second set and losing the third, the final score was 5-1, which left the Mexicans out of the mixed competition.

Outside gun shooting
Alejandra Zavala placed 16th in the 25-meter pistol shooting qualifying, which was not enough to advance to the next round, where only the first 8 places advanced.
Tenth place in rowing
The duo of Alexis López and Miguel Carballo finished as the tenth best rowing couple in the world by obtaining a time of 6:25.82, which helped them place fourth in the B final of LM2x.

Alejandra, who had already competed in the air pistol event, had a new opportunity in the 25-meter pistol. However, the Mexican shooter failed to advance to the later rounds, finishing in 17th position.

On the other hand, the athlete Cecilia Tamayo stood out in the 100 meter event, occupying 5th place in her heat, and although her performance was quite good, unfortunately it was not enough to secure a place in the semifinal.
Equestrian
