The first highlight of this weekend was the sprint on Saturday morning in Brazil. On a dry track, Lando Norris won, thanks to team instructions since Oscar Piastri (2nd), his teammate, let him pass at the end, and pocketed the winner’s eight points.
Third initially, Max Verstappen received a five-second penalty for not having respected the speed limits under a virtual safety car. He gave up his place to Charles Leclerc and therefore finished fourth and thus dropped three points to Norris. Note the beautiful 7th place of Pierre Gasly which brings two points to Alpine.
