The night following the Halloween holiday saw a series of operations conducted by the police, culminating in complaints, arrests and sanctions in different areas of the city. The overall balance of law enforcement activity includes eight people reported, including five minors, for various crimes related to illegal possession of weapons, violations of the Highway Code and other infractions.
Dangerous Disguises and Illegal Carrying of Weapons
Among the most curious cases of the evening, two young people dressed as Harley Quinn, an iconic comic book character linked to the Joker, were reported for illegal possession of a weapon. Both were wandering the streets of Naples holding a baseball bat, attracting the attention of the authorities. The evening also saw the seizure of knives of various types and even a katana, combined with a samurai costume.
Arrest for Resistance and Road Checks
A twenty-year-old Neapolitan man was arrested for resisting a public official after attempting to evade a road check. The young man, without a license and under the influence of narcotics, hit a soldier with his scooter in an attempt to escape. After losing control of the vehicle, he was stopped and is now under house arrest, awaiting trial.
Other Crimes and Violations
Sale of alcohol to minors: A 37-year-old woman, owner of a bar, was reported for selling alcohol to a minor.
Illegal parkers: Four individuals already sanctioned for illegal activities and subjected to Dacur were caught again practicing as illegal parkers.
Illegal presence: Two Moroccan citizens without regular documents and a 51-year-old man responsible for the escape were reported.
Sanctions to a Chinese restaurant: During inspections, a Chinese restaurant was sanctioned for sanitation violations. The inspection led to a fine of 4,500 euros, the seizure of 30 kg of untraceable food and the temporary suspension of the business.
