New bronze medal for Téo L’Herbier at the French Judo Championships

Repeatedly. Téo L’Herbier is clearly starting to count in the category of less than 90 kg. The Aube judoka, although injured in the knee (partial ligament rupture), had a great day in Saône-et-Loire. Authoritarian winner from Bordelais Verepla in the first round, very solid against Junior Mansita in the eighth, the elder L’Herbier created a small sensation by defeating Loris Tassier in the quarters. Tassier, 2022 French champion, second in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and European team champion that same year, was perfectly countered by Téo L’Herbier, who inflicted two waza-ari on him while mastering the attacks while in power of the judoka of Sartrouville.

Less success for Geoffroy, Cabaret and Ali

Unfortunately, in the semi-finals, Téo was unable to do anything against Eniel Caroly, from Blanc-Mesnil, who was simply sharper in this fight (and won against Laborde in the final). But, for the 3rd place, against Lucas Duchaussoy, the – of 90 Aubois did the job. He saw an opening, rushed into it. And, on the ground, left no chance for the judoka from Red Star Montreuil.

This new bronze medal rewards the work of a motivated boy, always very involved, who continues to progress, even at 28 years old.
