Authoritarian winner from Bordelais Verepla in the first round, very solid against Junior Mansita in the eighth, the elder L’Herbier created a small sensation by defeating Loris Tassier in the quarters. Tassier, 2022 French champion, second in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and European team champion that same year, was perfectly countered by Téo L’Herbier, who inflicted two waza-ari on him while mastering the attacks while in power of the judoka of Sartrouville.
