Conit Cisterna beat History Roma 3Z away with a result of 4-7 and achieved their fourth consecutive victory in the A2 men’s futsal championship. With this success the Pontine team of presidents Luigi Iazzetta and Tomas Martino rises to 12 points, at the top of the Group C standings, equal on points with Sulmona and with a three point advantage over the pair made up of Junior Domitia and Italpol.
«It was a hard-fought victory and in my opinion the boys did not take to the pitch with the right determination and we must always pay attention because when the level increases we risk losing – warns president Luigi Iazzetta – after the 3-2 of our opponents I thought I really liked the move of the field goalkeeper and also the attitude of the coach who, despite having recovered the game, at 3-3, left the field goalkeeper and we took the lead: we must never feel stronger because this is a championship very complicated.
