Club Marselino Ferdinand Oxford United were defeated by a strengthened Swansea City Nathan Tjoe A On in the Championship Division continuation, Saturday (2/11).
Oxford, who acted as host, was forced to surrender 1-2 to Swansea at the Kassam Stadium.
However, Marselino still hasn’t received the confidence to debut with Oxford in an official match. The Indonesian national team midfielder was not included in the list of players when they hosted Swansea.

Marselino is still waiting for the time to make his debut with Oxford this season. The former Persebaya Surabaya player has not had the opportunity to play in official competitions since joining Oxford on August 19 2024.
Meanwhile, Nathan Tjoe is actually on Swansea’s reserve list. However, the Indonesian left back did not get the chance to play until the match was over.
With their status as the visiting team, Swansea managed to take a two goal lead through the actions of Zan Viptonik (38′) and Florian Bianchini (80′). The hosts’ reply was scored in the 88th minute thanks to Dane Scarlett.
This result made Swansea move up to 12th position with 16 points. Meanwhile, Oxford slumped to 19th place with a score of 14.
The top of the Championship standings is controlled by Sunderland with a collection of 29 points. While the second position is occupied by Leeds United with 26 points.
